What is Roger Davis for?
Roger Davis is "Pro-Growth"
Economic vitality is the key to reversing the trends that have negatively
affected our community for years. To encourage economic investment
in our community, we must provide a safe environment in
which businesses can operate. In the absence of law and order our community
will not fulfill its potential.
 Our county leadership must have a pro-business posture. We
must work to reverse the perception (reality) that it’s difficult to
business in Hinds County.
Roger Davis is "Pro-Neighborhood"
Few things affect our quality of life like the safety of our
neighborhoods. We must not allow the criminal
element in our community to cause us to live in fear.
Ample jail space for criminals is an absolute necessity.
It is the criminals who should live in fear of being locked up for their
crimes.
We must fully fund and support the Sheriff’s Office in its
efforts to protect our families and businesses. We must "re-double" our
efforts in fighting and solving property crimes.
Roger Davis is for "Positive Leadership"
Roger is committed to representing the interests of the citizens
of District One, and is committed to working with other members of the
Board of Supervisors to affect meaningful change and progress.
Roger is committed to bringing consensus to the Board. Success in Hinds
County will occur when we work together, looking beyond
party, economic and racial differences. |
